Where possible they will work with you to arrange an alternative date and only if this cannot be accommodated will you be offered a refund for that session that had to be cancelled.

  • If you miss a session due to illness or have to isolate and StoryMakers are given enough notice and are able to fill your spot then they will be happy to move your session to another date. If your spot cannot be filled then they will be unable to move your session to another date.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

  • Due to limited numbers under government guidelines additional adults will not be able to attend the class – you can only have 1 adult per booking. ie. 1 child and 1 sibling place is 1 adult. (if you need

  • two adults present you can contact StoryMakers to ask and if it can accommodated in the head count then it will).

  • Families are required to specify the numbers of all that will be attending and all children will need a space booking in order for them to attend. Under 6 month siblings do not need booking but you must let me know to expect them.

  • Participants are required to attend classes only when they are well.

  • To protect others, anyone displaying the main symptoms of COVID-19 or if anyone in your household is displaying symptoms then please don’t attend class.

  • Families are required to provide full names, telephone numbers and email addresses of those attending at the point of booking. All participants are required to agree that these will be made available for contact tracing through the track and trace scheme, should this be required. These will be stored for 21 days.

  • Participants will be required to not unreasonably linger on arrival and exit to prevent a crossover of groups and to observe 2m social distancing when entering and leaving the venue.

  • Adults will be required to arrive and leave wearing face coverings but once sat with their child in a 2m space I expect participants to be able to remove the face covering to take part in the class . However when booking you are confirming that you will, if necessary, wear a mask for the entirety of the session if required (unless exempt).

  • Hand sanitiser is available at entry and exit to all StoryMakers sessions. Participants can use this or are asked to wash yours and your child’s hands before the class starts.

  • Participants must adhere to the entrance and exit routes set out by the venue. In some venues a one-way system will operate.

  • Classes will have a set time and arrival is to be no more than 5 minutes before the start so that cleaning and sterilising of the venue can take place between classes.

  • Participants must not enter the room in which the class is taking place if the previous session is still ongoing.

  • Participants will be required to socially distance at 2m from each other at all times.

  • The mats will indicate the spaces that the families should take in order to socially distance them. There will be a 2m distance from the edge of one mat to the next. The mats will be cleaned throughly between sessions.

  • You will be provided with a kit bag each week with sterilised equipment to use. If you would rather bring in your own props I can email you a list of suggested items each week to bring.

  • There is no opportunity to change groups or do catch up sessions from the group you are booked into.

  • Participants are currently not allowed to sing to the songs but can join in with the actions to the music.

  • Families will be asked to remain within their marked mat area throughout the class.

  • Participants are not allowed to consume food during the session, not only because of COVID-19 but also because of concerns regarding allergies and choking hazards. Breastfeeding and bottle feeding are both permitted.

  • Hot drinks must not be brought into class.
